Chadwick Dewey | Cove Lounge

COVE Lounge was a mystical forest-inspired bar and lounge created for the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival.

The lounge featured a bar on one side, where cannabis-infused cocktails were made and chilled with dry ice to provide an ethereal experience. On the other side was a glowing Tarot Card table inscribed with runes, ready to read your fortunes and offer a unique experience.

In order to achieve a unified design language, I integrated elements from the COVE brand, such as circles and a minimalistic design approach.

Additionally, I utilized spiritual symbols such as zodiac signs and runes, in order to amplify the mystical ambiance of the lounge.

For the Tarot Table the COVE logo is encircled by runes, emphasizing the mystical art of divination through runes.

The pentagram features five additional circles representing the elements: Fire, Earth, Water, Air, and Spirit.To create the Tarot Card table, an acrylic sheet was used, and the designs were CNC-etched into the material. LED strips were placed on all four sides of the table to illuminate the intricate designs from within.
